This loaf exists for people who want to eat bread again—and want to know exactly what’s in it.

Our classic sourdough uses our Heirloom starter and is slow-fermented, made without potassium bromate, bleached flour, synthetic vitamins, dough conditioners, or preservatives. We don’t fortify it, enrich it, or rush it. We let fermentation do the work it’s meant to do.

The aroma is clean and lightly tangy, the crumb soft and elastic, and the crust bakes up golden without being tough. The flavor is simple and balanced—never sharp, never heavy—so it works just as well toasted with butter as it does for sandwiches, eggs, or soup.

Many people start cautiously, just to see how they feel. Then they come back for another loaf.

This is bread made with fewer ingredients, more time, and nothing unnecessary—so people can enjoy it with confidence.
